Exhaust opinion SLP LM with or without cats

I have an SLP Loudmouth waiting in my garage for me to install. I will ALSO be putting on Jet Hot Long Tubes at the same time. MY question is, originaly I wanted to convert my car to dual cats, I wanted to get a custom 3" Y pipe and have 2 high flow cats welded in. I was recently thinking to just toss the cat all together and just keep the 3" y-pipe. So pretty much LT's---3" y-pipe---slp loudmouth. What do you all think? Is there ANY problem with me running this setup at a track like english town? I heard that the Loudmouth, with headers and no cats, w/ 3" y-pipe will not pass the sound level for a street night, is this true? Give me some ideas, thanks ALOT. Opinons, thoughts, all welcomed.

I don't run cats and i like the way it sounds. I have hooker LT's, mufflex y, 3 mandrel bent piping into a 3" flowmaster, its pretty loud, but i like it... i don't think your going to get any extra hp if you don't run cats as opposed to running high flow cats. Might as well bolt them up so you can run at the track...

Problem is if they will let me run at the track on a street night, I BELIVE english town (Raceway Park) has a sound level for street cars. I dont know what it is, and i dont know if this setup without cats will pass. Especialy with the 224/230 112 lsa cam, and llyoid elliot ported heads, dont know if that will make it louder but it mite, cam mite, hehe. Ideas?

ok I got the numbers. At etown on a street night you have to pass a sound test of 90db from 50 feet away. Will LT's, 3" y pipe, Loudmouth and no cats pass this?

put a cat on if not the car will sound like crap. I have heard a LM with headers, no cat and it was.
