well im finaly getting the 383 swapped in and stock engine swapped out. While im doing this im kinda thinking about swapping out the macs I have now for pacesetter uncoated emission equiped LT headers.
Will this swap be worthwhile? Id imagine my LE3 383 is gonna breathe heavy and the 1 5/8" macs arent going to be as up to task as the 1 3/4" pacesetters.
I would really like to have a custom Y pipe made to connect to the stock cat location just like where the mac Y pipe dumps, can this be done or will it be too hard? I have no idea how far the pacesetters would come back as opposed to the macs. I really need to keep the cat and it would be nice to keep it in its stock location so I don't have to move stuff around under there.

Ive found them for less than $275... I could clean up my macs and sell them to make up for some of the money lost.
