I can try to get some pics tomorrow when I instal my QTP electric plate. I currently have Pace Setter long tubes, with off road y pipe, flowtech cutout before the i pipe goes over the axle and Flowmaster 40 series, with stock mail slot tips.

Posting on a friend's name, when we dynoed his car I know he lost horsepower with the cutout open, and I believe it was 7 rwhp. I'm sure he will correct me if I am wrong.

Stoopalini, where is your cutout installed? Right before the muffler?

And here's the switch i used, DPDT switch and red LED from radio shack.

I'm getting the DMH e-cutout, but what location is optimal: right after cat and O2, or before in the back before the muffler?

My cutout is installed right under the rear pass seat; just before the bend over the rear axle. The floor board there has an indent, so no ground clearance is lost, and there is a rubber drain plug there I used as a wire gromet to bring the harness inside the car.

I am currently installing a new clutch, headers, and a MadZ28 tune and will have new dyno numbers here in a couple of weeks. I'm curious to see if the cutout still gains 6hp & 2ftlbs after the headers install.

Re: exhaust cutout...help me or cost me?

Sometimes Ill put a couple washers between the plate and the cutout, kind of a happy middle. LTs, ORY, Blowmaster.
