Exhaust cut-out question

was thinking about getting cut-outs for my 94 vette.. i know not a camaro. i found a pic,

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...xhaust+cut-out

the one by GS977

i love the look of that one but would the cutouts have the full effect that far back in the exhaust? all it would be eliminating is the mufflers?

thanks guys

Putting closest to the exhaust manifold would be best. You will still some improvement but if your cat is before the cutout then not as much.

Agreed. But even if the cutout is past the cat it will make a noticeable difference in sound, both tone and volume

mainly the use i want out of it is the sound, but minor gains are never a bad thing. i want LT's but they are just out of my range at the moment
especially since i just heard a knock on my engine not sure how long this puppy is going to last now. damn things are not cheap to rebuild either. bring on the kicker check! lol

thanks
