Re: ex 224/230

I still need quite a few things:

RR's
electric WP
pulley
'modify' my shorties
trans-go
sfc's

etc...i'm leaving a bit on the table without that stuff. Should do something with my heads - either clean them up or buy my buddies ported stocks.

11's are cool man right now i'm just hoping to hit 12s hopefully i will this summer. a 12 sec street legal car seems pretty cool to me.

What I mean by modifying the shorties is that the Hookers collector's are very small. I found this out by researching them on this board - BudM offered the most help in this area. I have to take a die grinder and open up the collectors - good for 5hp (common perception) due to the restriction. Not sure if that's valid or not but the good thing is that I have access to a dyno so I could test that theory.

We do tailpipe testing here along with visual of the converter - gas cap check too. OBD2 cars get the plug in testing.

I use a dyno - www.bigshotdyno.com

EDIT: 12's were my original goal and remain that way. I don't want anything faster NA - the N20 is what will bring 11's. I like the all motor aspect tho, nitrous is just something to dick around with.

Re: ex 224/230

It made 313rwhp - but that was before the tuning. Haven't had it back up there yet, i'm thinking more around the 330 range. Not adding any power parts this year other than the nitrous so I have to rely on hooking up. Bought new drag shocks, SFC's, and a 255 racetronix fuel pump so far. Really thinking about bolting on my buddies old heads.
