Car sits for two days.. Under it is some red clear like fluid... Any suggestions... Just turned 80K on the original tranny... My old car did this and a few weeks later the tranny went....


If it were to go what are some things I can buy within reason to make it a better tranny... My old 700r4 I got a B&M shift kit...

Also tommrow I will jump under it and look to see.

 

Could be your tranny gasket... Your other tranny probably went from lack of fluid because it was leaking in the first place. Get under it now and check your fluid

PS, as in Power Steering I'm assuming(it's 130 am, leave me alone!)isn't really red, its either clear or dark brown. Unless you have some performance power steering fluid? Or I'm stupid?

 

no, your right. Its not ps fluid. it has to be tranny fluid, i bet it just needs a new gasket or the bolts need to be re-torqued.
