I am about to buy a clutch (Centerforce crap went south) and was thinking about a SPEC. Please tell whether you have good or bad experiences.
Thanx

I didn't answer the poll...since my answer didn't fit either one.
My story:
I bought the Spec stage II and installed it and was very happy with it at first. I drove it for a couple thousand miles then it began to slip really bad, especially at highway speed in 6th gear. More so here than launching in first.
Did some research.... and thought it might be my master/slave cylinder. I replaced it with a new unit. The problem was better, but not solved.
I was pretty angry at the clutch at this point, but couldn't tear it down for a couple of months so I continued to drive with it slipping. BTW... worked perfect as long as it wasn't stressed.
Then the SLP day came along and I decided to make a couple of passes for the heck of hit, knowing that my times wouldn't be great.
But after a couple of burnouts and a couple of passes down the strip the clutch starting holding great. I made it to the final 6 that day before redlighting.
Anyway....since that day the clutch has been perfect and that has been another 4000 thousand miles.
So... I don't know if I would buy another one or not.

I have a spec stage 3 (carbon) big differance from the crap "heavy duty ram clutch" that I had before. I put about 400 miles on the clutch then took it to the track, no problems with slipping what so ever. There is about 2k on the clutch now, very good feel when driving around town in traffic, and still feels good when launching at the track.
