Meziere #1 : (HD version) 24 months service (to the day!) with a little over 20,000 miles pump quit... turned out to be an internal wire that was put on poorly on a batch of pumps made.... they fixed & rebuilt the pump for free, still going strong today.

Meziere # 2: 35,000+ miles & still going strong... but I do keep a spare under the seat I just want to see how far this one will go.

Meziere # 3: 7,000 miles so far so good.

Over the years I've installed about total 15 Meziere & maybe 4 or 5 CSI LT1 pumps. I had only one out of box failure which was a CSI & one of the other HD Mezieres had the same loose wire problem I had on my first one... both of those were purchaced at the same time.

I'm pretty happy with the Meziere's over all & will continue to use them

As a side note..... I will say that A: throw away the fuse that comes with the pump & use a better one. For some reason, I found that the fuse that comes with the kit blows well below it's rating..... Also, double & tripple check your connections to make make sure all is secure and everyhting should be OK. The majority of the problems I've seen were install related wiring problems

I've had the Mezzy for about 7 months now with no issues. Car stays much cooler now, and I picked up a tenth.

Thats a pretty impressive track record with E-WP's. Do you feel Meziere's are worth the $50 more though?

I'll stick with my stock water pump thank you. 5yrs and 80,000 is a much better track record then any electric pump I've seen. Even if it is leaking I know it is still work and not going to blow a fuse.

i think when you do mods like the electric w/p you have to be willing to sacrafice reliability or drivability for more hp. sure the electric w/p's are less reliable they have more parts to tear up but alot of people dont think about that when modding their cars. alot of people just want to go fast. an electric w/p is not a necissary mod, the stocker works just fine. the people that put on an electric w/p are just looking for that cheap extra tenth. im going with the csr with my new motor.

I initally ran a CSI when I installed my 383. Temps were a little touchy. It wouldn't take mutch to get it warm (+200). Installed a Be-Cool radiator and didn't gain nearly what I expected, if anything at all. Got the HD for my b-day. Temps seem mutch more under control now. In any event, the CSI was still great.
