Question evap temp sensor

Can I simulate normal state of evap temp sensor putting +5V on DK BLU wire (pin 24 connector D blue)? Am I correct - if It's solid state, so it must be ground or 5V REF output from it.

Jumpering A to B (blue to grey) on the connector would provide the 5v reference back to the PCM. The PCM might normally get 1.4v and varying to 5v depending on temperature.

Thanks shoebox I need a temporary fix, so I think I'll put 2 resistors there to provide proper voltage if +5v is possibly threshold value for PCM too.
