ET STREETS ON & Perfected my car & Times! Then they didn't want to come off!

I was running the new slicks today and is was SWEET 8) . I had to deal with bogging the frist 2 races then after that(OWNED) the stangs were looking at me all skered and intimidated. The "fast stang" lost to me, muhahahah.

With the ET STREETS I was having PERFECT launches at around 1500RPM's and it is not hard on the rear at all. I have the launch down perfect now and am POSITIVE I am in the 13's with ease and am cutting 1.8 60 foot times or better, to bad the clocks were down. I launch the car at 1500 going half throttle then mash it down a second later.

Anybody considering slicks it is worth it and not hard on an automatic tranny.

My $700 Converter is now showing me what it can do with tires. .

BAD NEWS: Ah, on a negative sidenote, my rims I bought for the slicks got stuck to my axel, both of them, they must have been machines wrong and I might have to have a tire shop bang the **** out of them to get them off, I have tried everything from kicking them to a rubber mallet with all my force.

I got a .507 r/t last week too!

Oh yeah I live at 4000 elevation so Stock Lt1's run low to mid 15's.

AHAHAHAH AT 3:57 in the morning I decided to go outside and hammer the **** outta the rims while on a jack with a rubber mallet. After making lots of noise for 20 minutes trying to get the other wheel off I just soaked it in wd40 and will hammer it out tommorro.

I hate not being able to finish something, it drives me crazy.

At your power level the slicks arent that hard on the driveline but if you start to really put some power down things go out in a hurry.

Sounds like you might need to grind on the wheel some. Been there done that. You'll see the extra little lip compared to your others.
