Best Y pipe for Jet-Hot LTs and Hooker Catback?
Best Y pipe for Jet-Hot LTs and Hooker Catback?
Which Y pipe would be best fit? Mufflex Y-Pipe or the Hooker Y pipe? What are the benifits of using either? Which one will give me the most power? If there are any suggestions of Y pipes that i havent mentioned, let me know.. The only ones i have heard good things about is the Hooker And Mufflex Y pipes.. Hooker Y pipe though on Tbyrne.com is only 149!!! can we say cheap? lol... Whichon though will fit my cat back and line up the best???? Feel free to tell me what you think.. I would also like some opinions of people running these Y pipes.
There aren't really many choices, it's pretty much the Hooker Y-pipe for $149, the Jet-Hot coated Hooker Y-pipe for uhh, $230 I think? Or a Mufflex for $250. I'd just get the Hooker for $149, may require a cut and some bending here and there, but then again it may fit perfect...all cars are different.
I'd also suggest the hooker. I'm going with the same set-up and just ordered the jet-hot coated Hooker y-pipe on Friday. I paid $209 shipped from chris at jet-hot on a gp. I've read that alot of people have ground clearance problems with the mufflex pipe. Also it has a 4" collector and the reducer pipe for 3" is an extra $25 from Thunder.
