Re: Estimated Horsepower

Ive learned that these Lt1 engines don't really shine until you do some head/and cam work, becuase that alone can bring it up to 400rwhp. But with your basic bolts ons youre not really going anywhere major. So with you setup above id also say around 260HP and Yes RWHP, becuase these engines produce 285FWHP stock.

Re: Estimated Horsepower

Stock is about 240-250rwhp. I say about 270rwhp and 285rwtq for your friends car.

Re: Estimated Horsepower

What do you guys think the estimated RWHP and ET will be on this car *97 Formula* with the following mods:

160* therm, TB bypass, LT headers, ORY, Random Tech cat back, cutouts, CAI, PCM retuned, 2800 stall converter.

I know this comes up a lot, but I just had to ask what you guys think I'll get. I'll probably be getting a dyno once I complete these mods.

Re: Estimated Horsepower

Is that to me?! It should be more than that and I know that for a fact Full exhaust alone is worth 20-28 HP.
