Estimate on my 1/4 mi time?

im gettin ready to send my car to the shop, i was wondering what you would think it would be running...here is the list of stuff im getting done, or already have done:

3:73 Gears
PaceSetter Shortys
Stock Heads Ported to Int.2.02 Exh.1.60
Intake Ported
Hot Cam Kit

and how much would a Pro Charger help me?

Hmm i think you need to research your mods more carefully before just spending money and sending it off. Oh and you'll need a tune for a dif cam. Hotcam kit is good but i would search around to see if it will meet your needs.
Pacesetter shorties are junk go with long tubes. Look into a le1 heads cam kit its like 1100 bucks and is much better than some ported heads and a hotcam. Go here www.eportworks.com.

Also have you considered doing the work yourself...with the cost of labor savings you could buy a nice set of tools and have more satisfaction with your car.

Re: Estimate on my 1/4 mi time?

Can anyone estimate my 1/4 time? My first time at the track I ran a 13.8@100.31 MPH with the following:

Bald street tires
LPE CAI
160* thermo.
Madz28 tune
Random Tech cat back system
Cracked bellhousing on tranny

I have since added:

OTVC wires
NGK plugs
Full tune up
LT headers with 3" ORY and 3" cutout
BFG KDWS tires
New tranny
Removed AIR system

You guys think I will run into the 13.2-4 range? It's an A4.

This is probably a little off topic, but if you have Excel you can download my little horse power estimator spreadsheet Here

Its not that complicated, real simple. It just takes race weight and 1/4 eta and gives a real rough estimate of hp

HP Estimator (MPH)
Racing Weight 3503
MPH 100.31
Est HP 275.9467328

I know but I don't have Excel. My race weight was 3503 with me in it and I ran a 13.8 last time I went to the track w/o headers and a bunch of other stuff.

HP Estimator (ET)
Racing Weight 3503
Et 13.8
Est HP 263.4454288

HP Estimator (MPH)
Racing Weight 3503
MPH 100.31
Est HP 275.9467328

BTW, I think the mathematically mph is a little more accurate

Not bad. I would guess that I would be running about a 13.3-4 with the mods I have now. I would guess at least 295 RWHP at the most. Thanks for the estimate

Not 13.4's without DR's. I ran 13.7 102 before the headers and lowercontrol arms.So far 13.501 at 104 my best so far with heads and LCA's

I don't know man I have a friend in Chicago with a 96 Camaro that has the same mods I do and he ran a 13.5 at the track when I went with him, and I beat him in the 1/4. Both are auto
