Question Error - Then car died

I'm driving along in the '97 SS the other day, I look at the radio and it says "ERROR", next thing I know the car dies. I push it off the road, and try to start it. She starts up fine.

Is it normal for an error message to show up on the radio display? How can I track down exactly what the error was? Everything seems fine now but I'd like to find the cause of this problem so it doesn't happen again.

Re: Error - Then car died

Error means it lost power probably, like the memory wire which is the wire thats always hot. If it lost power to that, then it probably would say error if the accessory stil work. I'm not really sure though. Pretty weird. Maybe your battery is going bad.
