Lately my idle is not very good ..it almost sounds like a cam is in there and
the car soounds like it will stall but never has. Think its around 600 on my scanmaster.

I have no check engine codes. I have about 66,000 miles on the car. Car has new fuel filter ,newer 30 pound injectors tuned with maft. It had this idle before the injectors. I have asp underdrive balancer with overdrive alt pulley.
I have brand new gm alternator and good optima red top.
I have clean air filter and cleaned maf wires carefully pretty recently.
I have new tps sensor in tb. I have never cleaned tb so mabye iac hole or something in there is dirty. Car seems to run strong normally no obvious missing or stalling .I did lose a water pump quite a few months ago but getting no codes for opti yet.
I have never changed out plugs or wires plan on doing that after get headers and install them then,no fun on the lt1 without headers.

So not sure what else to try..oh did install vig 2800 and not sure if had the lope before that..can the vig stall affect the idle ..the car has no programming other than hypertech for my 3.42 gears and 160stat.

At least the loping scares the ricers..

 

Im gonna bet it's your plugs and wires.

 

Ok but I have obd2 and don't get any misfire codes coming up,woudn't I ?
