Engine swap....car starts then completely shuts down
Okay, so I recently put my rebuilt motor back in my car. All the connections are hooked up and the car starts. Problem being it'll start up fine, run for approximately a minute then everything shuts down. I'm talking the car immediately dies and all electrical equipment (lights, interior, etc.) completely craps out. If I immediately try again I get nothing (everything still dead) then around 5-10 minutes later it will all work again like nothing ever happened.
Initially I thought my alternator may have been bad, so I checked it and it's fine. So, my cousin suggested it could be the VATS. Does anyone have any experience with this/can confirm the possibility it is the VATS shutting the car down.
If so, I'm assuming I can have the VATS tuned out when I get my tune and it'll fix the problem?

Re: Engine swap....car starts then completely shuts down
VATs would shut the engine down but not the other electrical items. The security light would be on or blinking as well.
You need to look for loss of supply voltage at key points.
