Engine swap

I am wanting to drop an LT1 into my S10 blazer and was wondering how my current transmission would be controlled if I didn't use the A4 that came out of a camaro?

What transmission is in the blazer? If it's a 700r4, it doesn't need computer controls.

you're going to need a 4L60e, a 700r4, a turbo 350, something of that sort, if your s10 doesn't have a tranny in that category you can't use it

Yeah, it's the 4.3. I'm guessing since it's a 350 with 2 cylinders missing, that it should bolt up fine.
