"Engine Sensor" Fuse. What is it.

What has to be happening for the 20 amp "Engine Sensor" fuse to blow? It blew once and we put another fuse in. On turning the key it blew again.

And if it DID blow, would it prevent the car from running? I dropped in the motor as well as installing a FAST computer but I get no spark. Is this fuse related to the ignitoinsystem in anyway?

Working on car now, so all help appreciated.

Suggestion:

Post topics in the appropriate forum.... in this case "LT1 Tech".

Put all the info in one post, on related topics... the fact that you are blowing the fuse would appear relevant to the fact your engine will not start, as posted in a separate thread.

Moving to "LT1 Tech"....

The fuse powers

MAF
HO2s
skip shift
reverse lock out

Fuses blow due to over current conditions, usually a short.
