Whats an average price range for a complete rebuild of an lt1 engine? Im looking to get an 94 z28 with 178,000 miles on it and i know it will probaly need a rebuild in a year or less after i buy it. Just wanted to know how much cash i would be shellin out to have it rebuilt.

 

I did mine for about $1800 total. This was with the heads getting done by a bud for only $200, the blower getting freshed up, and the rest was parts, and buying lunchs for a good buddy that helped/taught me how to do a proper rebuild. If you have the ablity to do it yourself it can really save money and help you understand your car much better.
