Lighting upgrades.

I want to upgrade the crappy stock headlights. I'm thinking of either upgrading just the low beam bulbs to silverstars ($40), and getting Hella FF75 as fog lights? OR, I can get the FF75s for $40 a pair off ebay, and have the FF50s as fog lights for about $50 for the pair. What do you guys think? Are the Hella's even street legal?

Not sure about the Hellas, but I did the SilverStar mod. Piece of cake, very easy mod.

I did Silverstars recently on my C5. They were a big help. I did low beams first and a few days later high beams. No more yellow light.

My wife's Audi has true HID headlamps which are a LOT brighter than even the Silverstars. Oncoming drivers don't like them, but once you've used them you don't want less.

Alright, well I'm thinking of just upgrading the low beams if I do the silverstars because I never use the high beams anyway. If I upgrade to the Hella's, I'll do all of them so they match. Right now I'm thinking of just upgrading the low beams to silverstars and the fog lights to FF75s.

I don't believe that they are legal as headlights. Kind of hard to tell at a distance and moving. Just don't get stopped and all should be okay.

Changing the stock driving lights to FF75s is a huge improvement.
