Engine Rebuild - Hoses, fittings, etc

I have just gotten my engine taken out of my 95 trans am and had my car towed back to my house. I am in the process of cleaning up the engine bay and realize that i will probably need to replace most of the hosing and such. Does anyone know the best way to get this stuff? Is it all available online? Also there is a little red box right above the batter that has wires going into it and its falling apart. Need to get a new one of those but done know what is. Can anyone help with this sort of restoration?

The Goodyear Hi Miler hose kit is good, for 95-7's [from Summit etc for about 99 bux..]
It is missing one hose, but that can be made up with a piece of 3/4" heater hose..
Dremel the clamps off of the heater hoses, and replace with the new hoses..
It's a nice kit for the price..

The red junction box on RH shock tower is GM p/n 12186586

Flush your heater core while the engine is out.

It comes with all but hose #15 on this diagram from shoebox' site:
http://shbox.com/1/heater_hoses.jpg

Heater hoses 3,7,12,17,20 are included [need trimming to fit] hose 15 can be made up with a piece of regular 3/4" heater hose.. [note there are 6 heater hose sections total, 5 are in the kit]
For the missing #15 hose, I used, instead, a piece of '3/4" heater hose', cut to about 14 1/2" [the p/n for a GM replacement hose for that is: 'heater inlet front hose' GM p/n 10146991

Radiator hose wise, all hoses in this diagram:
http://shbox.com/1/95-97_hoses.jpg

1,4,5,14,16, are included.. The Goodyear is a good kit for 100 bux.. I changed my 94 to the later 95-7 configuration with it[ I feel it's a better setup..
Just cut the swaged aluminum clamps [carefully! don't cut the aluminum tube that's under the hose] off of the heater hoses, and use regular stainless spiral type hose clamps..
I found cutting partway thru, making a little slot in the clamp, then use a flat screwdriver and twist it in the slot, it breaks easily then..
If you have done TB bypass, you won't need hose #4
It doesn't come with the radiator overflow hose either..
Goodyear kit p/n is # 5006

I mean the common hose clamps that everyone uses.. [i call em spiral hose clamps] that are like a worm gear screw that engages slots in the band of the clamp?
Very common.. Home Depot a hardware store etc..

Isn't that hi miler hose kit blue? I need new hoses myself but i don't think blue would go well with my black and red.

Anyone know of where i can get some hoses that aren't blue?

Does gm parts direct sell them?
