Question Engine power making combo?

hey, i want to get some good horsepower out of my car, and i was looking at a supercharger. well, they are expensive and i dont want to break anything, so now im looking for a setup that would give me good horsepower but also good drivability (emissions is no concern), AND NO NOS!!!

Im lookin at a cam, with my stock heads, and i dont know what else would go good with a cam; enlighten me. Which cam, would i want different heads, or injectors? Just let me know what a good combo would be (im looking for about 350-400 hp). Thanks

ps. i got the exhaust and cold air already, so.

350-400 flywheel or rwhp? If it is flywhell a simple cam swap with some headers and a tune would do it, im probably leaving out some simple stuff though. If not you are going to need some heads to get 350-400 rwhp.

Search around on here there are numerous threads on which cams work with stock heads and such.

cam/roller rockers, and rest of valvetrain/longtubes/tune...should put you in the area of 350ish...is this a m6 car or a a4...if its auto you are gonna want a stall with a cam

Skip the hotcam it's not worth it IMO.

Head and Cam package is what you need. Doesn't matter from who loyd or AI both do good work

Whatever you do, just do it right and do it once. You mentioned something about not having/getting headers. You gotta start from the ground up, it's kinda self-defeating to tear into the motor just to limit yourself in other places(such as exhaust). Make sure you have the full supporting bolt-ons before you go internal.

You will need headers if you want to make any real hp. I would recommend an Ai setup. They are now offering some pretty cheap stuff and Ai's quality is awesome. Their webpage is www.advancedinduction.com
