Yeah I've decided on going out the bottom. This is my first day to really work on it. I'm draining fluids now. If nobody interupts me, I should be able to make some progress. I'm still not real sure about how the hydraulic clutch stuff comes off.

Re: Engine out - Up or Down?

The slave cylinder mounts to two studs and a spacer cup on the bell housing. Remove the nuts from the studs, and pull the slave cylinder straight back. That's it. Put the nuts back the studs on to retain the spacer cup that fits between the slave cylinder and the bell housing.

Make sure no one steps on the clutch pedal after the slave cylinder is removed.

Re: Engine out - Up or Down?

Sweet thanks alot. Now I'm looking at the sway bar, thinking probably to remove the end links from both lower a-arms, and leave it up with the car. I've got all the wires disconnected that I can find. The driveshaft, & torque arm. The A/C compressor? Can I take it off the bracket and tie it up out of the way with the car, or do I need to open up the system by removing the lines? I'm taking my time here, not trying to rush it at all. I want this to go as smooth as possible. Never fails! A friend just called, seems he needs an extra set of hands for a few minutes. Fixing some plumbing in a jacuzzi.
