Question Engine oil level sensor 2 types available ? Help

Hi,
RE: 95 Z28 Camaro - I have a leaky engine oil level sensor (screws into sump on LHS) I have tried to order this part in Australia and have been given 2 pt. Nos. eg 12603781 and 12579984 but neither of these seem to work.
I have actually tracked down a sensor that is supposedly listed for the 94/95 camaro but these have a 3 pin connector and are a bone color . My sensor is a black color and only has two pins.
Has anyone there fitted a sensor and do you have to convert from two pin to three pin and if so is this straight forward?
Or is there the correct sensor available in US and can you give me a link to supplier please
Cheers from Down Under Yacka

Here's a list of part numbers for the oil level sensor on shoebox's website:

12603782 (old 12579983,
24507190
and 12579985)

www.shbox.com

Also... if it's leaky perhaps you can just get away with getting a new seal:

Plug it up and check the oil manually on accessions.
Get under the hood and look around some when ya pull the stick.
