engine mounts
You have to push up on the bottom of the engine to take the weight off the bolts that go horizontally through the upper and lower portions of the mounts. You don't have to "lift" the engine, just support the weight on a heavy piece of wood, jacked up against the bottom of the pan, and off the bolts in the mounts. To pull the long bolts forward out of the mounts, you will need to turn the steering wheel to full lock, to get the linkage out of the way of the bolts.
