engine missing after new plugs and wires
I have narrowed the miss down to cylinder 7, but i dont really know why its doing it now. At first the problem was that some of the wire from the core was coming out of the boot so i pulled the boot off and cut it down, tis better now but it still misses when there is stress on the enging. When it misses the abs inop light comes on, i have this wire routed next to the steering linkage and its right next to another wire there. I was wondering if this wire could be interfering with the plug wire. Sorry this is long.

Just checkin'... also, another way is with an old timing light. Click the clamp on each wire one at a time. You'll see the strobe miss a beat on the misfire. But that test requires you to get under the car on these models.
Another issue with misfires... clogged EGR needles can cause a rough idle... FYI. Wouldn't cost anything to decarbonize 'em while your under the hood.

the only thing is that this wasnt a problem before i did the plugs and wires. didnt miss at all before. ive been thinking it could be my fuel filter, i may have installed it wrong, if thats possible

Not really, unless a spec of debris got into the line and jammed your #7 injector pintle. Possible...
If you can get under the car and hook up a timing light, the strobe should be steady. Everything sounds fresh on the install, of couse this isn't an ideal world.
I just cleaned my EGR valves today... soaked them with SeaFoam cleaner for 15 minutes, brushed the needles inside clean. Idle is MUCH better!

Shoebox, the ABS light is puzzling to me too. I can't understand that one. The ABS wiring is clear of the 2ndary ignition circuit. I haven't seen any ABS wires near the plug wires... just seems wierd, but makes sense.
