Engine harness from 94 work in a 95 car?
Engine harness from 94 work in a 95 car?
I picked up a engine harness from a 94 A4 Z28 thinking i could use it in my 95 A4 TA. In looking through the searches and iv now realized that the 94 harness is missing the one plug that connects to the body harness. Can i still use this harness or do i need to get one for the 95? The engine im putting into car is coming from a 95. Im completely at a loss for this. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Iv already looked through Shoebox website and cant figure still if the harness will work or not because of the missing connector.
Re: Engine harness from 94 work in a 95 car?
I'd imagine so, im not too familiar with the fourthgen engine bay but I don't believe anything as far as sensors were changed from 94 to 95. I believe 93-94 was a change and 95 to 96 was changed.

This has been discussed before.
You need to run a jumper wire from the PCM to the transmission connector. I linked to shoebox's website to show which wire it is.
In that same post (which was only like a week ago) Ryan mentioned 94 has one engine to forward lamp harness connector while 95 has two, so there will be some work there as well.
