I've got a 95 formula about 2 weeks ago I was driving along and the engine cuts out , then comes back and everything is fine
So I replace the fuel pump with a walbro, Installed a racetronix plug and play harness, and replaced the fuel filter . So today it cuts out again I don't think it's the opti spark since I'm running a LTCC any ideas ?????

 

when you say the engine cuts out & comes back, you mean you have to start it again?

if thats the case, it kinda sounds like it might be an ICM issue, but im not sure about that since you're running an LTCC setup....maybe something wrong with the LTCC?

 

Don't have to start it again . I'll hit the gas and nothing happens the all the sudden it comes back and drives fine

 

sounds like something electrical to me...a sensor or two maybe...can you describe it a little more?

 

I'm having a similar running problem with my 93 Camaro. I just installed a Delteq and am having these problems. It revs smoothly in neutral, but put it in gear and it runs fine until 3500 RPM and then it begins cutting out and surging, (not the wires, they're new). Full throttle is worse, but it does it at part throttle too. BTW, the only SES code it's throwing is 43, which is the knock sensor...

 

Plugs? Wires? O2 sensors?
