I think the only difference other than what you already mentioned is a couple of brackets that are different for the engine bay in a Camaro.
I would build myself a 4-bolt main stroker for $4000, unless you want to be different with the LT4. Good luck.

The 95 OBDI computer can "manage" your LT4 engine if you have the ERG programmed out. The LT4 didn't need an ERG valve as the cam took care of this. You'll need to use your 95 knock sensor and you will not use the crank position sensor that comes on a 96 engine. The programming should also be changed to optimize the fuel curves/timing for the higher HP/RPM setup.

That's almost enough to build a performance engine, why waste it on a stock engine with only 330 advertised hp?

Take the money and buy heads and cam (looks like you've already got some of the supporting hardware) and make twice the power gain for half the money.

That's just what I'd do, er, did

re-build instead of stocker

Thats what i was thinking...re-build bottom end..not stroked but upgraded...and cam and head work....and i was guessing i would be around the same price but alot better off horsepower wise......Is that the basic theory on this?....Doesn't look like any one would buy this engine for that much money...for only stock performance numbers.....
