well i have ripped apart the entire engine and im about to pull the block out. Car has 105k. I have done some searching and i have a CC305 cam SPL ST headers. Im going to get the heads ported and polished (to what specks to match my cam???) I also am going to get new RR (What kind is the best??) springs (are the comp cams the best???) and what else needs to be replaced??? Im also probably going to get a new water pump. Im setting the budget at 3k.

the rules
-car must be 100% NJ street legal. Smog and all
-Its not a daily driver however want to be able to drive the car on long trips and it be reliable as possible.

I would sacrifice a little HP for more reliability but I do want to get as much out of the engine as possible.

Ill keep adding my new parts to this thread as I make my decisions.

 

Just got off the phone with an local shop and the did not recomend porting the heads.

are crane Hydraulic Roller Lifters good for my setup???
