Engine block markings

I was under the camaro today and I saw a decent sized 327 marking on the block. I'm curious on what the marking means.

its a 327 block

but with a crank that makes it a 350

like a .030 bore will give you a 355 but that and a stroker crank will give you a 383

It is marked "327" because the GM part # for the LT1 block is 10125327.

Heck, even my old 87 TA with the L98 had 327 on the block.
