Engine after starting seems real rich

My car exhaust is horrible and makes your eyes burn for the first 2-3 minutes after startup. Is this normal, or a sign something is wrong? After 5 minutes it is not noticable.

Intake manifold leak.Check the #8 plug for oil and crap on it.Hope this helps.(anoying isn't it?)
