Hey guys just wondering what else i may have to change to get my damn car to pass emissions. I took it in 3 times today after changing the cat (which was one of the problems). It still failed the HC level so i had the oxygen sensors changed. The levels got worse everytime i went in. It started at 1.25 and was at 7.10 by the 3rd time i took it in. The level should be .80 and under. I had a tune up maybe 2 years ago and the car seems to be driving perfect. What else can i try? Its a 94 z28

 

Have you put in the RXP additive? Its a small little red plastic bottle they have at autozone. It's got the "Guaranteed to pass" label on it. I put that in before I go get inspected. Try that and changing the oil before you go.
