Emissions
Re: Emissions
"Visually" you are required to have all the OEM emissions equipment intact - cats, EGR and AIR. What kind of inspection do you have? It varies all over the place, depending on the state, area within the state, whether they are private or government run stations, etc. A car that passes emissions without a cat in rural Kansas is not going to pass emissions in CA, NJ, and many other states that have Draconian inspection requirements.
What kind of testing do you have? Idle? Dyno? What drive cycle do they use? Can you slip anyone a bit of cash?
Almost makes the responses meaningless, unless it is someone who faced the exact same requirements you have.
