Emissions

I am installing a Camshaft 227/233 duration @ .050", .560"/.569" lift with 1.6 rockers, 111lsa, and a set of LT's for my 95 camaro m6 and I was wondering if I could still pass emissions without it being tuned?

I highly doubt that you will pass with that cam, LT's, and no tune. Why would you not want it tuned? You will pick up a lot of hp from a good tune.

Which LT's do you have? Do they even have emission hook-ups?

If some one was to hot wire there air pump on all the time for the emissions test could that help by pumping clean air into the exaust just a thought anybody know?

The only way you can possibly pass with a cam is if its on a 113 LSA or higher. The reason someone would be this cam, and others is because LOTS of other states dont have emissions and alot of other poeple that are in an emission state drive there car only at the track, meaning it gets trailered.

You can pass with a gutted cat and some 110 octane, you actually CAN pass with a 112 LSA but your going to need to wire up and air compressor and let it run while they are testing your car. Only trick to that though is finding a small enough air compressor, blowing enough air to thin out the mixture, and not too noisy because when they go to test the car...their going to start to wonder why theres an air compressor hooked up to the exhaust. There are loop holes in the system...find them and ask if you can get passed.

EDIT: You could build you exhaust enitrely out of cats!!! LOL, might work you never know!
