emissions with 1.6RRs, stock cam, but hotcam tune?.

Hi all, I have to smog tomorrow, so here is the current situation.

Currently, I have a stockish engine, with headers, and 1.6RRs.
.
Now, I used to have a hotcam, so I had the PCM tuned at pcmforless.com. During the engine rebuild, I had it swapped back to the stock cam, so that I could pass CA smog without too much worrying.

The shop was supposed to put the stock LT1 program back on my car for me, but I'm not 100% sure if they did. And after all the fuss and hassle I had with the shop, I wouldn't want them to work on my car again, regardless of whether they put the stock tune on the car or not.

so I have a couple questions:

1) How can I tell if I'm on the hotcam tune or the stock tune?
2) Since I still have the 1.6RRs on it, will the stock tune work ok with it?
3) Would it be better to smog the car under speed density mode? I know a smog guy who is somewhat lenient, so he probably wouldn't mind me smogging with the MAF unplugged.

I am so nervous, I have a freshly rebuilt engine, MAC headers/y-pipe, MAC hi-flow cat, and 1.6RRs and cold air intake. Tuning is either stock or hotcam tune. Think I can pass CA smog?

It'll be fine, the only thing with the hotcam tune you might have more timing then needed but it wouldn't hurt anything to fail if you have a good cat etc...

I thought that a hotcam could pass smog...i know people have in the past as long as the tune is good and your other emissions stuff is working good

Thanks for the replies, guys. hope I pass smog! I'm not sure how efficient the MAC hi-flow cats are ... hmm.

And yeah, some people seem to pass the hotcam and tune with no problem, but I didn't want to take any risks - my registration is already expired, and while the engine was being rebuilt, I just decided to throw in the stock cam for safety measures... i can always put the hotcam back in later.

thanks
