emission test with older gas?

I've got my car ready to come out of winter storage and need to get it tested. Will the full tank of gas with fuel stabilizer from the fall be ok?

I've run the car a couple times on the highway and it does not feel like the gas is old.

Thanks

I have got my cars e-tested with old gas from the summer. I have also bought methnyl hydrate which burners hotter then gas to clean the car out. Im not sure if youve heard about the new e test here in canada. They use your OBD2 port and flash your pcm for any sensors that have gone off, or they check if anything has been done to the PCM lately. Apparently it takes like 5 minutes. Unfortunately, vehicles from 1988-1997 still use the sniff test! which sucks!

Ya I am aware of the new testing - the limits are higher now so the sniff test *should* be easier. I might just give it a try and see how it goes.

Yea, the regulations around my home town arent very smart. IF you live in the small town of 3,000 people you have to get the test, if you live 1 km out of the town, you dont need a test. its a true head scratcher!

Wow that is strange! I really hope they scrap the entire program.
