Eliminate FMU?

With my mods and having LT1_edit, is there a safe way to eliminate the FMU?

Many ways, I dont use a FMU never have never will. Run large injectors and a big fuel pump. Im using 42lbs and gss340 intank with a MSD Boost A Pump. Overkill yes, I like fuel on any FI motor. This should support 15psi and im at 12psi 5800rpms.

Sounds mean as hell. Almost as loud as when I just was running off the manifold. Does smell though since !cat. 3rd gear going 70 mph, no one tries anything. No dyno, but I run 12.9 in the 1/4. Traction issues still, and I need more practice at the tree.

cool, you should be able to run mid 12's when you get the lights and better traction, i didnt run my car yet im hoping for mid 12's ..

I have to get a different muffler because mine has a bad raspy sound above 3000 rpm i cant stand it..

I took off my FMU because the car started to run very choppy. Found out later that the diafram(SP) went bad. I would say with a good tune run without a FMU and you should be good. Its one less part that can fail.
