Electrical Cutout Purchase

Hi fellow members. I am new to this site just because I just purchase my first 94 Firebird Formula. This car is amazing and I am glad that I became fbody owner. Quick question, even though my car runs great, I would like to make my car a little bit louder. I keep hearing about Electrical Cutout and how great it is... Anyone know where I can purchase one? Any group purchase available here? thanks guys

The two I,ve heard the most about are quicktimeperformance.com and dmhperformance.com. I think their prices are about the same.

everyone here seems to run DMH (dmhperformance.com), I have a Mccord Power Plate, I love it, I think it's just as good!!! and it's cheaper. there are some other companies that make them. I would suggest mccord, just do a search in yahoo for mccord power plate. I paid like 113 shipped and then I had my muffler shop make me a cutout with piping. good luck. Oh and a cutout is great, sounds awesome(do you still have your cats??) Sounds better without them!! and every now and then you can find a group purchase on DMH.

I have the DMH unit. Dave is awesome in terms of customer service and workmanship on his products. He will also custom make a cutout to match your exhaust sustem (ie. stainless cutout for a stainless exhaust, etc). You may pay a little more, but that's the cost of going first class ;-)! Hope this helps!

Go DMH, he stands behind his product, and has a 4 year waranty. Pluss he is a supporting advertiser for the board.

I already have a Flowtech cut-out and I am buying a DMH E-Cutout and I wanted to know if I can bolt it right on, or do I have to take off my whole cut out to install this. Also How hard is it to install?

Thanks

It bolts on like the plate (to close it) would. DMH includes all the wires and switch to make it easy. Just run the wires and plug 'em in. Although I guess I cant really say from experience... I was about to go outside and install mine right now.
