Electric Waterpump Worth It?
You will lose the high rpm drag of the stock water pump. And the electric will cool better at idle. The drawback is, you have to keep more of an eye on it because when it goes out, you can overheat quickly. You can install a warning light for when it goes out. I have the Meziere and like it.
CSI here.. I like it... It has every advantage over a mechanical except when it goes it just goes... no leaking out a weep hole for a warning.. But everything else is better, cooling, bleeding the system, changing it again, around 7rwhp on a stock or near stock engine.

As you can see from that they do help free up some HP plus they flow more coolant than the stock pump. Since I never pay attention to my guages, my pump is wired in series with my MSD ignition. So hopefully if my pump fails my car won't run. I don't know if it will work but I hope I'll never have to find out.
