Question Installation of cat-back exhaust??

Well- I will be ordering either the hooker or magnaflow this weekend for my 95 T/A. Just wondering if anyone had any helpful hints on the install. What tools will I need, etc.? It will probably be me and a buddy doing the install in the driveway. Also, bout how long will it take? Thanks

install

you will need either a cut off tool or hacksaw to cut off your old exhaust off other than that all you will need is a socket set

jack and jack stands off course

A hacksaw wont work, trust me. I ended up using a circular saw to cut mine off(very dangerous by the way). Good excuse to buy, or borrow a reciprocating saw. It took me about an 1 1/2 hours to get the old exhaust off, but the new catback was easy to install(about an hour). By the way I did mine by myself, so with 2 people it should be a breeze(if you get a reciprocating saw)!

Let me suggest going for the magnaflow....I have had mine for a year and love it. Recently one of the welds broke the rear hanger and they are sending me a whole new exhaust system. Good customer service. I would buy another in a hearbeat

a sawzall would be a great help. I had to use a hacksaw and dremel to get that clamp off my I-pipe-Y-pipe connection and that took twice as long as it did to get the catback up.

WD40 or some kind of rust penetrant for the 2 bolts that go into the catalytic converter. You wouldn't want to break those bolts.

Okay cool, I have a Sawzall handy and my buddy has jack/and stands. Do these systems come with instructions?
