electric waterpump relay hookup

Hi guys i just got done installing a mezeire electric waterpump on my 1995 z28, as far as a hot source for the relay what do you guys think of the fog lights (there long gone) fuse in the junction box under the hood? i dont want to run the wire all the way back under the dash.

I have my source coming from the junc box on the pass fender and mounted the relay on the firewall( !a/c) Make sure you put a fuse in line as well. My first pump I didnt have fused. The water pump motor shorted out and damn near burned the car down

hey, thanks for the heads up, ill def have a inline fuse from the relay to the pump.

i just use abs fuse for my turn on lead for relay .it hot when key is in the run position but not when turned backwards . hope this helps you .
