electric water pump or not?

I've got a 97 heritage Z with the mods below. Will the electric water pump make enough difference to be worth doing the swap?If so about how much? Thanks for any help.

Well when i put one on I could feel a nice gain. All at higher RPM,which is where you want it.Get it.Cooler running temps are a plus too.

I would wait until you get a cam to go with an electric wp. I got one mainly because I was doing the cam swap and I went with the cloyes roller chain that doesn't have a wp drive gear. An electric wp is supposed to free up some hp though, some people say they didn't notice a gain, others say it's up to 10rwhp. Most of those gains come at high rpms where there is less drag on the motor since the cam isn't driving the wp.

also depends on if your car is a daily drive...mine is, so people said not to install with with my upcomming cam install. they fail too often, so if you drive your car alot, its not really worth the hassle.

I agree. It really would be worth the hassle of doning it now. So wait until you do a cam or the water pump goes out.
