there are two electric water pumps for 93-97 LT-1 f-body's, the meziere one and one other one that i know of. Which one needs to be modified to fit correcty and which does not. Is one better than the other. There is a price difference so im just checking before i buy. Thanks

They Meziere and the CSI both require some modication to install. With the Mez you need to cut some of the fan shroud to make it fit but the pump fits in the stock waterpump housing without any modification. With the CSI you just have to grind the wp housing a bit to get it in, not much really, took about five minutes to do. I went with the CSI since it was much cheaper and just as good from what I hear.

 

I also went with CSI because of price! The notches in the housing are easy to make and it takes maybe 5 mins. Also, i think it looks better than having to cut the fan shroud.
