First I am going to say that my water pump needs replacing, but could this cause the elec. fans to not function properly? I got under the car when it was over 200 degrees, like around 220 and they still never came on. Before I got under the car and looked it sounded like I keep hearing the turn on then instantly turn off. BTW-this is in a 1996 Z28. Thanks

 

Stock fan ON temp is 226°, so it gets plenty warm before they are supposed to come on. There is all kinds of info about the cooling system on my Tech Page, as well as about a zillion posts on this board about cooling and fans that you can search.
