slp loud mouth is loud, its too loud, if you get loud mouth get a dynomax bullet muffler to replace the resonator and get the quad tip setup, im my opinion get borla, it gives you the best flow and sound and its adjustable, you can switch the plates. check out www.ls1sounds.com it has a sample of every available exhaust system available for f bodys. but dont be fooled loudmouth is much louder in person and dosent sound as clean.

Loudmouth is cool but it does get a little out of hand sometimes. I changed from the LM to a Hooker and the Hooker is alot better toned, LM was just a loud noise. I've always wanted to get a Corsa though, sounds extremely nice. People say GMMG is also a great system.

Whatever you do, don't get loudmouth if you have a gutted cat and stock manifolds. It's damn annoying. My vote is for the magnaflow. Nice mellow tone at idle, you can get out of the neighborhood without waking a soul, but once you WOT the earth shakes. Not to mention it's stainless steel for under $400

BORLA!!! ok maybe not that much , but its an excellent system, and the sound is adjustable too. If you have the money I would without a doubt recommend Borla. I have heard around and to me it sounds the best, but remember your the one who has to hear it everyday so just listen around and make your best choice...good luck

Re: which catback to get?

ill put in a vote for hooker. i got minue about a year and a couple months ago. no rust problems and still sounds good as every. very easy install. muffler assembly can be taken off with three bolts if you really wanna go open exhaust. and its one of the cheaper ones. i got mine for 285 shipped from thunder racing.

magnaflow would be the best if youre not going for expensive. borla is great if you have more money. these are in my opinion.

Re: which catback to get?

Magnaflow with a cut-out.

Can keep it near-stock sounding while cruising with the cut-out closed unless you go WOT...

Or you can cruise with sound and still have it scream at WOT.

Re: which catback to get?

I got a Magnaflow a couple of weeks ago, good value, polished muffler case(should be on top of the car LOL) below 2000rpm or cruising on the highway its pretty mellow.

Get over 3000rpm and higher it really howls,I like my exhaust loud so I don't mind,I was also looking at the Loudmouth, maybe that will be my next exhaust

I have had a Dynomax CB(Quiet) and a FlowmasterCB(100db's atW/O throttle) and the Magnaflow is louder than the Flowmaster.
