which elbows fit slp cai?

i was wondering which elbows fit the slp cai without any modifications? i was mainly looking at the 1LE, vortech, and trick flow elbows. do any or all of these fit on our LT1's?

Elbow never touches the CAI though. I have the 1LE/SLP CAI combo and its fine where the MAF goes into both the 1LE and CAI. Unless you have a 93 speed density car, dont know how those are setup.

I've got the slp and i just put my trick flow on, it pushes the CAI about 1 1/2 too far to the right and now it doesn't fit into the hanger (but the filters do still go down into the compartment), doesn't rattle or anything, but that plastic divider won't work anymore, I don't really care b/c the elbow looks cleannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

i understand that the elbow doesn't go to the cai. i have just heard that some elbows need some mods to make the combination all fit together. is there any flowing difference between the three elbows? do any of them make a louder sucking noise? i understand this may have to do with the cai itself. i have a 1995. i just added a signature so now everyone knows what year i have when i have specific questions. thanks

I dont think they flow any different. The cheapest and best bet is the 1LE. If you want something that looks cool you could go with the others. Plus the 1LE being rubber makes it easier to shape and mess with.

I have the Vortec elbow w/ the F1 twin tube CAI (same as SLP unit except it's polished, not powdercoated black). I had to modify the elbow (removed approx 1 1/2 inches) so that everything fit. The F1 unit fits in the hanger and the plastic divider is in its proper location. Email me and I'll send pics if you're interested. Thanks!
BTW, the 1LE elbow is the same as OEM except the resonator tube is removed and the outlet closed. So yes, you could remove the tube and seal the outlet yourself; saves some $$$.
