Eibach Drag Launch Springs

Has anybody who has installed these noticed their car sitting higher than stock? A few people told me their car sits higher after installing these. I am considering getting them, but if this is the case, I probably won't.

no 1st hand expierence, but odds are they are right. they are drag springs. they aren't really meant for lowering/cornering.

Mine has the same height as stock with the kit. I was worried about this too. Though I probably will cut one coil from each spring to improve the stance once I go to 15" telstars and a taller tire sidewall.

Cool, thanks. I'm not worried about it handling bad or being lower, since my 26x11.5x16 ET Streets most likely wouldn't fit with it lowered. I just don't want it to look like a 4WD. I am willing to sacrifice a little comfort if it helps me go faster.

I installed the rear eibach drag launch springs, it does actually sit up a lil' higher. I haven't put the fronts in yet....

My buddy has them on his 95, looks about stock. Here is a link to the video page. http://www.angelfire.com/va3/juicedta/ go to the VIDEO_LAUNCH one. When you take off it really squats (he had some small tires on there for this, you should see it with the ET streets). The track vid is before the springs. He is on this board-Funina91ss.

Mine sits slightly higher than stock. If you don't have a tape measure you wouldn't notice the difference.

Cutting a spring doesn't make sense to me. Actually that sounds like the worst idea I have heard in a long time.

Ditto.... with the Eibach Drag Launch springs in the rear, the back end sits about 1/4" to 1/2" above stock. The front has HAL drag springs, and the height is adjustable with the HAL/QA1 shocks. With the front set to stock height, the added height in the back from the Eibachs, and 28" slicks, the car has a serious "rake"....

It's 4 1/2" from tire to quarter panel

I'm building a drag car so it doesn't bother me
