EGR yes-no????

I just ported my intake and i'm woundering if i should take off my egr any advidce would be appriciated.

Do you have emissions? It really doesn't hurt performance, but keeping it adds one more thing that can hinder it (if it goes bad). If you don't need it, I'd say get rid of it.

I personally blocked mine off and had it programmed out of the computer.

It was worth it for me, would do it again.

If you don't have to worry about emissions then it is your call, it won't hurt you either way.

That's debatable, but it depends on the engine mods. If the engine is not able to keep combustion temps low enough to keep from detonation, then yeah, it will hurt you.
