EGR Tube Repairs, Any Ideas?

So I cut off the EGR tube where it connects to the Header. So far all the dealerships in my area have none in stock and GMpartsdirect says that they don't have it either. I was wondering if any of you have this piece laying in your garage, I will give you a couple bucks for it. I would like to hear some ideas on fixing it.

I was thinking of using High Temp RTV and finding a High temp hose and connecting the hose to the cut EGR tube and clamp it with RTV sealant on it. For the other side, connect the hose to the connecting flange (short piece of EGR tube still on it) that goes at the end of the Header and clamp and RTV it. I just wasnt sure what hose would be able to withstand the High temp that headers give off. Any ideas?

This is what GMpartsdirect told me in a email:

Part number 12551318 is not available from gm at this moment they are testing the product. If you would like we can cancel the part off your order and continue with the rest of the order or if you do not want to continue with the order we can cancel the complete order. Please email me asap on what you would like to do.

Thank You www.GmPartsDirect.com

I have the entire EGR system for sale, solenoid, valve, and the tube you need. All of the components only have around 10k miles on them as they were replaced before I deleted them

This part should be easily obtained from a local bone yard, or from another board bud like above. I think attempting to repair it would be difficult and would look ugly.
